Our second collaboration with Tilda Swinton, 'Notes from the Precipice' proposes that we find solace from a World in crisis through the Self, in solidarity, in art, in beauty, in friendship, in love, in resistance, and in community.
The skirt has been handcrafted in Scotland by Sharon, Shirley, Finlay, Sandra, Moira, Allan and Kevin, and is knitted with 100% cotton. The text is rendered in Tilda’s own handwriting and screen printed by hand near our studio. The design incorporates 28 lines of poetry, including:
Defy unkindness
Listen to the quiet
Respect the young
Seek growth
